Domest Violence Survivor Needs New Stove to Feed Children

My Story:

I am a single person raising 3 children ages 15, 9, and 8. My oldest is in 10th grade talking all honors classes. My 9 year old daughter loves gymnastics and is definitely my sweetest. She loves to please and is always helpful. My youngest son is completely opposite. He loves catching fish and hunting bull frogs. I work as an office manger at a gymnastics gym. I became single in July of 2018 after being with their father for 15 years. He started abusing me out of the blue and has been incarcerated for a long time so I am on my own.

Loosing his income has been hard on us. I could not work for 3 months after the abuse and I went through emergent plastic surgery which took months to heal so bills have stacked up. My mom died in August 2019 and that too has had its own expenses. I am trying to stay strong and keep the kids life as normal as possible but it is hard. And now of course, the stove breaks!! So we have been burning wood in our fire pit to make meals. It was okay at first but now winter is coming and wood is getting harder to burn when wet. We need your help with a new stove, definitely sooner rather than later.

I do not know how I will feed my children this winter without a stove. It will definitely make a huge difference and last many many years. I worry about cooking whole meals in the microwave as I do not want us to get sick and I want my children to have access to healthy options. Please help us.
