Unexpected Medical Bill For Injured Child, Please Help Single Mother
My Story:
I am a single mother with two beautiful daughters. We are an animal lover family who volunteer at the Woodford Humane Society weekly to socialize with the cats and kittens. I currently work full-time at Amazon, and have been here several years.
I earn enough to pay for our basic expenses with each paycheck but I do not have funds saved for anything extra, like medical expenses. During one of our weekly volunteering sessions, a cat scratched and bit my younger daughter on the face. I rushed her to the nearest hospital for treatment. This unexpected hospital bill has put me in a bind. I need Modest Needs' help to pay for this hospital bill. This has been hanging over my head for so long. I am afraid that if another medical emergency happens, I will not be able to catch up on my regular bills that I have each month.
This funding will bring our household current with all of my bills again. I will have a huge burden lifted off of my shoulders, and it will show us hte kind and generous people out there like you who help families in need. I would like to have an emergency fund in case this situation happens again.
