Help Hardworking Parents of Two Turn the Lights Back on

My Story:

I am a married woman with two children. My oldest daughter is 2 and my son is 11 months old and is just learning to walk. My husband is a military veteran who is putting himself through college. I am currently a homemaker, with plans to start college as well in the spring of 2020.

Our family is generally well provided for. My husband works full time and part time as a ride share driver to take care of the rest of the expenses. However, due to a misappropriation of funds through an administrative error the VA didn't pay the full amount owed to us. This combined with our vehicle needing repairs left him unable to continue working. We need Modest Needs help with our electric bill. This bill is currently past due and has left us with disconnected service. We are currently staying with family to ensure our children are cared for properly. However, I fear that if it isn't paid the bills will continue to mount up leaving us further behind in our payments, and of course leaving us without power once our time with family comes to an end and we return home.

This funding will allow us to return home to the power on, and create stability within our personal finances. Our vehicle is now repaired, and the GI bill is scheduled for payment by the first of November. Our family would greatly appreciate any consideration given to our situation, and I believe this would allow my children to see that there are good people in the world willing to help those in need. Thank you so much.
