Income Gap Put Us in Financial Bind. Now We Need Help to Keep Our Car!

My Story:

My wife and I both came from an arts background, and have had to struggle against the odds to build a life together over the past 8 years. I was fortunate enough to land a lucrative job in a tech-related industry, earning enough so that my wife could work on her writing and acting from home, and for the first time in our life we thought we had put it all together.

In November of 2018, I was laid off of work. Due to the messy nature of my company's M&A restructuring, I ended up 'blacklisted' in my industry and hav even unable to find a suitable replacement job in my field. I was on unemployment for the first half of 2019, and all of our bills went delinquent. We were lucky to be able to work out rent arrangements with our landlord during this time, as we have no family or friends to support or help us. I had to eventually choose to start over, landing a basic retail sales job, which barely covers our basic survival needs. Our car payments fell so far behind that the bank is now actively pursuing repossessing our vehicle. We are asking for Modest Needs help to bring us back to current on our car payments. We've been able to mostly right the ship in other areas, but absolutely and desperately need to keep our car so Ia can keep getting to work! It is due immediately.

This funding will help Ian to continue to get to work to keep us afloat, while he searches for a new and better job, and we struggle to rebuild our life. Please help us.
