This person has left the following thank you note:
I have searched my heart and soul for the last 48 hours trying to find the words to express my gratitude to each and everyone of you who donated to me in my time of need. You kindness and generosity is overwhelming, and there are truly no words that can ever express my heartfelt appreciation to each of you. I am so very thankful to each of you and the impact and power of your generosity. Just knowing now that I can replace the skirting on my mobile home, so that I can securely keep my water pipes from ever freezing again is a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. Please except my sincere heartfelt thank you. Thanking you, I am sincerely grateful!
Mobile Home Siding is Rotting and Winter is Coming
I am a divorced mother of two and I have two grandchildren. My daughter is attending college in Denver and my son lives about 78 miles east of me. I work full-time for Evergreen Management and am a Certification Specialist. My children and my grandchildren are my whole world, my everything.
Last March my water pipes froze and I went without water for 5 days. I also missed 5 days of work as a result. The bill for new water pipes was very expensive. Paying this caused a huge hardship on me financially. In order to prevent this from happening again, I need new skirting on my mobile home because winter is fast approaching. We had our first light snow on October 2nd. I'm not sure how many more nice days we will have left. I need Modest Needs' help to pay for the skirting on my mobile home because I just can't afford another expense again this year. I work full-time and live pay check to paycheck. I'm afraid if I do not receive your help, I will have frozen pipes again and miss more work.
This funding would greatly improve my mobile home and protect my water pipes from freezing up again during our harsh winters. Your help would give me a great sense of relief knowing my water pipes are well protected, and financially relieve a great burden on me. I stress over this on a daily basis, wondering if I can make it through the winter. Water is something most people take for granted, going without it for 5 days last March, I no longer take this small pleasure for granted.
