Father in Prison, Single Mom of 4 Needs Help to Keep Her Car
My Story:
I am a single mom of four and a first generation college graduate. I just bought my first house last year and two weeks later I found out that the children's father is going to jail. I work full time to support us.
I was never getting any child support and I make just a little over the amount to qualify for assistance. I am getting food stamps to feed my family and to make the ends meet. I had to put money towards a new washer as ours broke. I have 4 children and need them to have clean clothes to wear to school. This caused me to fall behind and I am afraid I am going to lose my car. I need Modest Needs assistance with this bill, I have nowhere else to turn.
Your help will have huge impact on my family and I. It will help with my anxiety and give me peace of mind. I am loosing sleep from stress and overthinking of what could I do about this. This will definitely build my sense of security and give me some allow some comfort to know everything will be ok. Your help would let us see that people are looking out for us. I get raises at work every year which are small but will add up in the end when I try to build a savings.
