User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeI want to thank each and every one of you that helped in funding my application to help my family and I keep our car. We greatly appreciate all the time and effort you all took in deciding to fund my application. It will help us get back on our feet to where we can get back on track on paying our bills on time. I have heard and seen so many stories on here as well as on social media that there are still a lot of selfless people to help someone in need and my family is one of the people that you all helped. I will pay it forward to help someone else in need because of you!

Missed Work And Car Repairs, Help Hardworking Parents Keep Only Vehicle

My Story:

My fiance and I have been together for 18 years. We have 2 boys who are 16 and 13 years old. My youngest is sick and diagnosed with walking pneumonia and because of Medicaid it has taken them two weeks to get us the antibiotics my son needs. Both of my boys enjoy playing outside sports such as basketball and football. My fiance and I both work full time.

We earn enough to pay our expenses every month, but we live paycheck to paycheck. We have no savings and what money we had saved for our car payment this month went towards our only car breaking down two weeks ago. We had to pay for a new alternator and then two days later a new battery. Later one, we had to replace battery because it was dying already and found out after we had it tested the alternator was defective. The car was out of commission for about a week and a day and since we need our car to work we were not able to work during this time. We need Modest Needs' help to keep our car.

This funding will help bring our household current with our bills again and help restore our sense of stability. My fiance will be going from a self employed to a W2 employee with a dollar raise starting this month and working more hours. This will allow us to save money for emergencies. Thank you for taking time to read this and help us.
