Water Leak Could Turn Lights off For Single Mother of 5
My Story:
I am a single mom of 5 kids, 4 of whom are under 18 and dependents. I work as an accounting assistant II for Jefferson County- our local government. My kids are in 2nd, 6th, 9th, and 10th grades respectively. They are all honors students with GPAs of 3.5 and higher. I am so proud to be their mom.
Due to the costs of back to school student fees and plumbing repairs which caused our water bill to shoot up, I have gotten behind on my power bill. We had a leak which caused my May water bill to be triple what we are used too. We had to repaired but making those payments hurt our other bills. We need your help with our electricity.
I do not want the late fees to pile up and have us fall further behind. This funding will allow me to focus on the future payments and not have late fees or even eviction looming over my head. Your assistance would get us back on track. Thank you.
