Adjunct Instructor Needs Help With Electric Bill After Slow Summer

My Story:

I am an adjunct college instructor and I work at the local university and at a local state college. I love what I do and I love my students. I teach Sociology which is what my masters degree is in. I have a wonderful 5 year old son whom my husband has been raising so that I can keep my beloved teaching career. My husband has just started training to be a Locksmith now that our son is in school. This Fall he will become a skilled locksmith after a wonderful few years of being a stay at home parent! We have a sweet little dog who we rescued after her family lost their home to a Hurricane last year.

I have devoted the last seven years of my life to teaching, and most of that time I teach two and three positions that are equivalent of full-time positions. Every once in a while summer is very slow and I do not get a lot of classes. As an adjunct teacher if you do not get classes you don't get paid. I have found myself in this position this summer and now need help with my electric bill.

Now that Fall semester has started I will be back to drawing income from both jobs this coming up month, and I will be back on track. But paychecks are withheld, so I will not see them until the 15th of September. This funding would guarantee that I do not fall into a cycle of debt. Your help will allow us to focus on work, my husband on his new career and our son starting school. Long term this stands to ensure financial stability that I have had in years past.
