Ovarian Cancer Nearly Killed Me. Now It's About to Bankrupt Me and Leave us Homeless. Please Help!

My Story:

I am a single 31 year old woman and I live with my sweet and beautiful grandmother. We live for one another and support each other in every way we can. I am a licensed insurance agent and my grandma is a retired widow.

On April 3rd 2019, I went to the hospital to have what I thought was going to be some simple surgery: removal of an ovarian cyst. The surgery ended up being not so simple, and in the end, they doctors had to remove my entire right over. Then I got the phone call. My doctor told me that after studying my ovary, they'd discovered that I I had ovarian cancer, and that my cancer already had moved to the uterus. As you can imagine, I was devastated, especially since I am not yet a mother.

Anyway, given the severity of this type of cancer, to keep the cancer from spreading to my other organs, in June, I had to undergo a complete hysterectomy. The surgery was a success & I was discharged from the hospital, but three days later, I returned to the hospital with a huge hemorrhage that nearly took my life. I received transfusions plus iron and finally was able to go home, but it was another month before I could go back to work, and all of the time I had to take off was unpaid.

This has been one of the hardest years of my life so far. Cancer nearly killed me and made sure that I won't ever be able to have children. But now, on top of that, I'm left with the medical bills I have to find a way to pay after losing a month's income. Most places have been understanding, but there's one bill they're insisting I pay RIGHT NOW. If I don't, they say they'll send it to collections, and if my wages end up garnished, my grandmother and I will end up with nowhere to live.

So if you would PLEASE help me to pay this one medical bill, I'll find a way to take care of everything else over time. It's just that I've been through a lot, and right now, the one thing I think I need most is a little peace of mind. Helping with this bill would give me that because I wouldn't have to worry about losing absolutely everything to cancer. Thank you so much for helping if you can.
