User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeWe would like to thank all of the donors who chose to help us with the very unexpected electrician bill we had. We cannot express how thankful we are! We have come to the realization that we cannot take the most daily things for granted. We will be paying it forward and hopefully will be able to help someone as much as we were helped. Again, thank you so much! We appreciate what all of you have done for us! Thank You Vaughn,Brenda Connor and Devin

Storm Knocked Down Tree Which Turned Off Our Power, Please Help With Electrician Costs

My Story:

I have been married to my wife for 16 years. We have 2 boys together that are 15 and 16 years old. I have worked full time at Alamco Wood Products for the last 19 years and my wife does PCA care and is currently starting a job at our local hospital as a scribe.

We do not live beyond our means, we live paycheck to paycheck hoping to be able to make our bills every month and that we do not have a big unexpected expense come up. Well, it seems just as we get a little bit ahead mother nature decided that, that should not happen. On Saturday July 20th a large thunderstorm came through with very strong straight line winds. It took out a large tree in our front yard that landed on the power line and pulled the meter off the house which in turn pulled the wires through the breaker box in the house. We need your help with the cost of an electrician to come out and fix the problem.

It will help us to pay the electrician to get our breaker box fixed and have power in our house again and still be able to pay our bills this month. To date we have been without power for 5 days and we are ready to be able to go back home and get back to our daily routine. For us this would definitely be a great way to teach our boys about paying it forward.
