This person has left the following thank you note:
Words cannot express our deepest gratitude for your contributions to our household. Your donation was able to cover a mortgage payment that fell behind a month. With two active duty military working parents constantly on the move and at work, it seems we were paying an additional mortgage to cover the expenditures of necessary childcare for two children. One of us separated from the service honorably as a veteran and found it impossible acquiring employment immediately. Thankfully we are now both employed and are current with our bills thanks to your assistance. We will most definitely pay it forward and continue to support this organization, so that others that may be facing financial hardships can receive assistance as well. May God bless everyone involved in our rescue! Thank you! Very Respectfully, Grateful Navy Family
The Military Delayed Our Benefits. Our Mortgage Got Behind & We're Going to Lose Our Home.
I have been married to a fellow military member for the past 11 years. It was love at first sight, we met in the recruiting office and were married 6 months later. From that whirlwind romance came two handsome boys. Our little genius is 4 going on 14 and our 'Curious George' gets into EVERYTHING. I was honorably discharged back in March of 2019 and just recently started full time employment at the local hospital here in July. My husband continues to serve honorably in the Navy.
When I was honorably discharged I never anticipated how tough it would be to find a job coupled with the delay of the release of my unemployment funding. This really put us in a bind. Our car was recently repossessed because we couldn't afford to pay both the auto loan and the mortgage. Now that I finally found a job I need to pay for my car to get reinstated but will not be able to afford the mortgage if we pay for the car reinstatement. We need your help with our mortgage payment.
My car takes precedence since I need to travel to and from my work which leaves my mortgage unpaid. I fear that we could land deeper in debt and could potentially lose our home if we never catch up with the payments. This fund would help us tremendously by getting us back on track and catch up on our pending and future expenses. It will help us get the kids back in daycare since I had to pull them since we couldn't afford it. I just started a new job so by that alone things are starting to look up. We just need a little help. We would be forever grateful for your generosity and compassion during this very difficult time in our lives.
