How do I even begin to put my gratitude into words, honestly there are no words to explain how grateful and indebted I feel to those donors who have helped me!I cannot thank the donors enough for helping me out during this difficult and emotional time. Emergency Surgery Had Single Mom on Unpaid Leave. Please Help Me Catch Up!
My Story:
I am a single mom to a 7 year old daughter. She loves being outdoors, around animals and playing with our puppy. I work full time as a Patient Service Representative in the Pediatrics department, and I also go to school full time working towards my Bachelors degree all while taking care of my daughter. My daughter is my world and I work hard to provide her with the life she deserves!
Recently, due to a medical condition, I had an emergency surgery causing me to miss work. I am the only provider for my daughter and myself so this time off caused a financial hardship. I tried to return to work as soon as possible as I was not eligible for any paid leave. The surgery was both mentally and physically hard and I just want to get caught up and back to a normal life with the two of us. Really, I'm trying to catch up on my rent, but between my July rent and June late charges, the amount I owe is over Modest Needs' limit So I'm asking for help with my cell phone bill so that I can take the money I normally would use to pay that bill, put that with money I'll earn this month, and FINALLY catch up on my rent.
This funding will help me caught up and not accrue more debt and fall farther behind on all my bills. I struggle to keep my daughters life uninterrupted and would hate to have to put her through moving from our home. My daughter can continue with understanding that although there may be struggles in life there is always a way to continue on without giving up.
