This person has left the following thank you note:

Dear Modest Needs Donors; Please let me have a moment of your time to Thank You for your generous donation to my wife and I who unfortunately for the past two years have been living on the brink because of the numerous medical problems I've had and the inability to find work because of these problems and age. Your help will have a positive effect on our immediate ability to catch up on some of these major bills and prevent the powers that be to shut off several utilities. Thank you all once again as I'm sure everyone has been here at least once. THANKS

Elderly Man Needed Help With Water Bill After Truck Repairs and Surgery

My Story:

I am a married and disabled 78 year old male who has just undergone a triple heart bypass. I still have two more to go. Our high mileage truck broke down in the hospital parking lot and was towed to a local dealer. Because of my limited income we've had to forego paying necessary bills that have put us in a very uncomfortable mental and emotional situation.

We live month to month on my fixed income and I don't have enough left over to build up some savings. We need Modest Needs help to recover the unexpected truck repairs. I really need your help with a water bill.

This funding would bring our household current and restore our sense of stability. With your help I'm sure we'll have a better outlook for the immediate future. Thank you.
