Our Preemie Son Was in NICU for Over 2 Months & We Had to Miss Work. Please Help with Rent!
My Story:
I am a married mother of 3 boys. My 2 older boys have autism and my youngest was born nine weeks early. I stay home full time to care for them while my husband works 3rd shift full time.
We were barely making ends meet off of my husbands income. As I mentioned, my youngest son made his grand entrance into the world much earlier than planned and almost didn't make it. He spent a long time in the NICU, and because of this emergency my husband had to miss work. He had no paid time off available, so we had to go almost 2 full weeks without any income at all. We're still playing catch-up from this emergency. We're now mostly caught up on everything but rent, and we've just gotten an eviction notice. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to us, and I don't know what we're going to do.
I'm hoping you can help us pay one month's rent. This funding would bring us current with all of our bills. It will also relieve us of that constant stress of how we are going to keep a roof over our children's heads. I hope my family is never back in this position again. I am trying to find a part time job while taking care of my children, to ensure we will not be in this dark place ever again. Your help would make a huge impact on our lives.
