Life is never easy; that's for sure. We prayed for God to give me an answer as I sought for all types of help from government assistance to local charities. But when I found myself at the highest point of stress, God gave us you all. God always makes miracles happen and ours came from Modest Needs donors. Words cant explain the gratitude and appreciation we would like to express. I know we all have tough times in life. What helps is knowing that people like my husband and I, hard working people, come together and help each other in times of need with nothing in return. Thank you. I'm Battling Crohn's Disease & Have Missed Work for Treatment. We Need Help to Keep Our Home.
My Story:
I am married and we have three children. Our youngest son is three years old and he is very smart. Our nine year old son is very active and our 7 year old is very intelligent and loves to play with his brothers. I work full time at our local Sheriff's Office as an administrative assistant and my husband is a Sheriff's Deputy for the same office.
My husband and I work full time and every month we make enough just for our basic needs. We do live paycheck to paycheck and have no savings. In March I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and we had to make unexpected medical expenses on a M.R.I, an endoscopy, CT Scan and colonoscopy. After being diagnosed I am now on a medication which has to be infused through an IV and I have to take time off from work. I am requesting Modest Need's assistance in helping pay for our mortgage payment. We really don't have anywhere else to turn, and without help, we'll have no choice but to default default on our mortgage. We'll lose our home if we can't pay this bill by July 23rd.
This funding will impact our long-term situation by maintaining our mortgage payments and we would be able pay our utilities without fear of disconnection which would leave our children without light or water. This assistance would be greatly appreciated by our family and show that hard working people sometimes need a helping hand. Your help would get us caught up and relieve the stress of our shoulders.
