This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeHi! Words cannot express enough, to thank all of you for your kindness and generosity to a stranger in need! I literally just jumped up and down! I wish there was a way to thank everyone individually, in person! Give all of you a huge hug! All I can do is thank you in words, and it's not my strongest area! ;) I hope you know how much you have given to us! You will never be forgotten! I assure you, when in a better place again, if you will, I will pay it forward like I used to be able to. We now can pay our van payment we needed help with during a tough couple months we have had. Unexpected costs can really put you in a bind at any time in our lives. I never expected my son to lose his mobility and have a need for a conversion van. You just don't think of these things, until it happens. Then unexpected costs come up in life and put you in a bad place. These mobility Van's are super expensive! I was flabbergasted when we first got our payment quote. We knew we needed it though. So we sacrificed to have it. Almost $500 a month for these Van's. Repairs and maintenance not included. Insurance on them are higher due to the cost of the van to be replaced by insurance in the event of a complete loss, With an accident (knock on wood). So your rates go up. I am unable to lift my 13 yr old into a vehicle. I am 33 with Rheumatoid Arthritis and other impairments. He is my height. Also 100lbs of dead weight. So again, we had to invest. It's the best thing we have ever had! Sacrificing doing family fun things, in order to meet our family transportation needs for getting our son around, takes a toll on you. You miss out! We now can keep the van due to your generosity, of a break from the payment for a month! Our unexpected costs recently are paid! Now we can keep our Van! We can breathe and get out of the hole and move forward! Get ahead again! Again, I'm not good putting into words a proper thank you, but I hope this helps paint a picture of our gratefulness to all of you, for a hand up during a rough time! Words will never be enough! Thank you again, from the bottom of our Hearts! Assured, we will pay it forward one day! You have helped 'Keep Mason Moving!' (Our son). He has had so many troubles in his 13 years of life. He never fails to amaze us! He has an amazing smile and very well known for his contagious laugh! He is our Warrior! Thanks to you, we can get him around! Take care!!

Need Help With Van to Get Disabled Son to Doctor

My Story:

I am a mother of a 13 year old, severely disabled son who requires 24 hour care. My boy had a stroke during birth, due to lack of oxygen. This stroke led to uncontrollable seizures, that were potentially fatal and all this led to having the left side of his brain removed. I am disabled myself, but I have to be available 24 hours a day for my son. Right now we live with my boyfriend who cares physically and emotionally for us and works to support us, despite his chronic Gout that causes pain.

We have had some recent and unexpected out of pocket medical expenses, for my boyfriend and myself. Also, due to my son having Cerebral Palsy from the stroke, he wore out his hip socket during the time he was able to walk. That was his 9th out of ten surgeries, in the last 8 years. We had to get a conversion wheelchair mobility van, to get him around. All this put us in a financial bind and now we are about to lose our van. We need Modest needs assistance so we can get to keep our van and take my son to doctors appointments.

This funding would help us get out of the financial hole and we could do fun things again as a family, like we used to. I am swallowing my pride and asking for some much needed help. Thank you for your time and consideration to help!
