Expecting Parents Need Help to Keep Gas On After Income Loss
My Story:
I am a mother to a smart and funny 5-year-old girl who loves to watch Trinity and Madison on Youtube, riding her bike, and attend her faith-based preschool. I am currently pregnant with our second child due in July. My husband works full time, however, he still always finds time and energy to play with our daughter and help me out around the house.
My husband was laid off in February from his previous job. Although he has recently started a new job fairly quickly, we had no savings set aside to use during this gap of employment. I work part-time at Starbucks, however, due to my pregnancy and having a 5-year old I had to enroll in health insurance for our family which has now eaten up my entire bi-weekly paycheck. His new employment has a heavy commission component, and we need Modest Needs help while we wait for his first pay check. We are asking for help with our gas bill.
This funding would allow us to remain current with our rent and our utilities. It would also give us enough of a cushion in our finances to survive until my husband begins to receive his pay. Your help will provide stability and continuity for my daughter, and an opportunity for my husband and I to resume trying to save for the baby coming this summer. Please help us.
