Medical Scan Needed For Treatment But No Extra Funds For Healthcare
My Story:
I am a single female with limited income and not enough insurance to get the medical assistance I need from specialists. I live off of my retirement income and social security. I have reached out to state agency's with no luck and have exhausted what I know of all my efforts to get help.
The health issues I have prevent me from working and unfortunately the type of treatment I need is not covered by my limited insurance. I was always independent and took care of myself my entire life. I now am just barely living check to check. Doctors no longer bill you they expect payment before you are even seen. I am asking for assistance to cover the cost of a medical scan I desperately need.
If I do not get help, I do not know where else to turn as my condition continues to get increasingly worse. It comes down to eating and paying rent or getting medical attention. I have no immediate family and no one else to turn to for help. This assistance will allow me to get back on track with getting healthy and remaining self-sufficient. I want to be able to help others that are suffering too in the future.
