Transmission Needs to be Repaired for Father of 5 to Get to Doctor

My Story:

I am a married father of 5 beautiful girls. They love to do outdoorsy things with me. My two oldest are in college, one in Vegas and the other in Omaha. My 20 year old is a published author of 4 books! My 15 year old is extremely interested in anything that involves animals, especially when it comes to abandoned pets. She wants to be a veterinarian. My 13 year old is into anime. My 9 year old is really into sports, she plays softball every season.

My wife, whom I love dearly, works hard to provide for us. We live off of one income. We scrape by month to month but we manage. We both have a lot of medications to buy I was diagnosed last year with a number of issues, such as Fibromyalgia, Stiff Person Syndrome and adult onset seizures and my wife has diabetes. I have been disabled since 2016. During this time, my doctors will not allow me to work at all. This is a hard pill to swallow, especially since we are short each month. I have been battling Social Security for disability benefits since that time. I spend most of my time immobilized. To do anything for long periods, I need my motorized scooter. The car that we use for appointments broke down and needs the transmission fixed. It is just something we just can't afford to do. We need your help with this repair cost.

I am dependent on other people to get anything done, especially office visits. I have an average of 2 per week. I have changed most of my doctors visits out to give me time, but it really does need to be fixed as soon as possible. I am depending on church members to drive me, but they can't do it all the time as it is an hour to and from, and most cannot accommodate my scooter. Getting help to fix the car would be a great help to my family. Once the doctors find the right medication and treatment plan, our money situation should improve. We just don't know what we're going to do if we can't get the car fixed. Thank you everyone.
