Emergency Car repair: Need Help to Continue Reliable Transportation
My Story:
I am a single woman with no children. I am employed and work full time. I have a technical diploma in Apparel Technologies, but found it hard to make a living in this field. After some times, I went back to school for Business Management. I completed my Associate's Degree and am working towards my Bachelor's Degree. I still love sewing and am working on starting an online pattern company featuring my own designs.
I live in Chicago, IL. Recently I parked my car in a deep puddle of water. The water froze with my tires in the water. Without knowing my tires were frozen in the ice, I tried to move my car, I was pressing on the gas but my tires weren't moving due to being stuck in frozen ice. This caused $1365 worth of damage to the part of the car that turns the tires. I desperately need your assistance with the cost of this urgent repair.
Without my car, I will lose my sole source of transportation for work and school. Neither of which are on the bus-line. I cannot afford to purchase another car anytime in the near future. This funding will enable me to carry on with my life. Your help will restore my transportation source for work, school and necessary frequent life errands. Thank you so much.
