Domestic Abuse Survivor Suffered Car Accident, Please Help Me Afford the Deductible
My Story:
I am a single mom. One son is a marine and my youngest is still in school. I have been taking care of my granddaughter who is 2 years old while her mother is in recovery for a severe drug problem. I work full time as a Certified Medical Assistant. I have 16 years of experience in the field. I was out of work for about two months due to a domestic situation that took place last year. I have been in therapy for PTSD for the last two months. I have been playing catch up and maintaining thus far.
I was in an unexpected car accident while driving home from my doctors appt. I was side swiped by a van on the highway. I had to file a claim and bring my car in for repairs. My car is fixed and I have to pay my deductible to get it out of the shop. I am not able to take care of this because it was unexpected. When it happened I had all my monthly bills sent out. I have to go back to work on 01/07/2019 and I am in need of assistance to get my car out of the shop.
My biggest stress is not being able to pick up my car and not being able to go back to work, and I will definitely lose my job which will then in turn will set me back months. I cannot afford to lose my place, especially when I am caring for my 2 year old granddaughter. My car is pretty new, and it is very reliable, without it, I don't know how I will be able to maintain my daily routines. Your help would be life changing.
