Single Mother Needs Help With Large Car Repair
My Story:
I am a single mother of a 12-year-old boy. Because I was a stay at home mom when I was married, I had trouble re-entering the workforce after I left my husband. I work for every penny I earn and spend most of that trying to give my son a better childhood than I had. My son is an aspiring drummer and loves acting, singing, and the arts. I work a full-time job, a part-time job, and a seasonal job as well as volunteer as youth director at my church so we keep very busy.
I have had my current car for several years and it's almost at 100,000 miles. Recently, I discovered that it needs a new clutch. I've had several people tell me just to buy a new car, but it's difficult when every penny earned is spent before the paycheck arrives. So it's a new clutch for now. It's a repair that needs to be done so that I can still go to work and take my son to all the places he needs to go, but if I don't receive assistance, I fear that it will take me years to get out from underneath the payments. I need Modest Needs help.
