Elderly Woman Needs Help to Make Her Bathroom Accessible

My Story:

I am a retired university staff living with my adult son. I am a diabetic who has had three surgeries on my back, knee and foot. This has caused me to suffer decreased mobility.

I need to remodel my bathroom and stairway to allow for easier mobility within my home. I currently am unable to use the upstairs bathroom. The mobile chair lift on the stairwell and a remodeled bathroom would allow me access to both, and help me regain some of my freedom. My current retirement income and ongoing expenses do not allow me the money necessary for this remodel. I need Modest Needs help with this expense.

With this remodel I will be able to fully access the upstairs and nearby bathroom giving me full use of my house again. Your assistance would allow me to feel more independent. Thank you so much.
