This person has left the following thank you note:
I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for helping me during my time of need. I lost a lot of work time due to being in the hospital and it set me back a lot. I help people everyday as a 911 dispatcher and I am so grateful that Ive been helped by your kindness. This definitely makes me believe there is hope in humanity for kindness. I hope to return to the site once I get back on my feet and pay it forward to someone else. Once again, I cannot thank you all enough.
Missed Work While in the ICU, Please Help Me With Rent
My Story:
I am a 22 year old male working full-time as a 911 Dispatcher for the county. I live alone and when I am not working I enjoy playing video games.
I live paycheck to paycheck and was recently in the ICU on a ventilator at the hospital because of an allergic reaction. The doctor recommended that I go on FMLA for about six days, and I was not able to work during that time. I lost close to $300 from my paycheck and that prevented me from being able to pay more than my utilities. I have no money leftover and cannot afford my rent this month. I need Modest Needs help with my rent.
I am afraid that if my rent is not paid my landlord will begin the eviction process. I will have nowhere else to go if that happens. This funding will bring my rent current and allow me to have peace of mind once again knowing that I am not going to be at risk of losing my home. I plan on hopefully getting a roommate soon which will be a huge help to my expenses. I hope that one day I am in a position where I can return the favor to those that helped me out.
