Mother and Recently Discharged Veteran Needs to Keep Car, Please Help

My Story:

I've been homeless for the last 4 months with my kids. Since being discharged from the service I have been trying to buy a home and staying with family and even a close friend. Staying with others has not gone well for us. My children and I found ourselves in the streets. Well I finally was able to get a home by the grace of God and some good people. But now I am trying to repair 6 months of financially living in a money pit and it is causing me severe financial difficulties trying to accomplish getting back on my feet. I just got VA and SSDI benefits.

Transitioning form the service to civilian life has been a a huge struggle. I need my vehicle to get my children to and from school, where they need to be, and to grocery shop. I have fallen behind in my payments and desperately need Modest Needs help to get caught up. Moving forward I can afford our household expenses with my VA benefits, but need help with my behind bills.

If it does not get it paid my car will be repossessed. With your help I will be back on track. I also have my CRSC and my Federal employment disability retirement pending. Thank you again for looking at my application.
