This person has left the following thank you note:
It is with a grateful heart that I thank you all for your generous donations to my application. These last several months have been difficult to say the least and at times heartbreaking. Your generosity has lifted a great weight off my shoulders and I can focus on the continued care of my son. Again, your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Missed Work Due to Child's Hospitalizations, Please Keep Utility Connected
I'm a married mother of boys, ages 19 and 12. My oldest is a senior in high school, excels at welding and is planning on going in to the welding profession once he graduates in 2019. My youngest son loves football and is very athletic. I work full time and my husband is a inventory specialist.
My youngest son has been hospitalized twice since April of this year for depression and suicidal thoughts. I missed a week of work without pay on his first hospitalization because he was in a hospital out of town and I had to travel to visit him. Missing this work has put us behind and has made it very difficult to catch up on our monthly bills. I am hoping that Modest Needs can help us pay our past due electric bill.
If we are able to receive funding for this electric bill, we'll be current and that will be a relief to not have that past due notice hanging over out heads. This will help my family focus on mental health as opposed to stress with bill. This would have the biggest impact on my family. Thank you.
As of 2018-12-29, this application has been fully funded!
This request for help was funded at the recommendation and through the support of Modest Needs' donors.
Application Status Update: On 2019-01-02, Modest Needs sent payment via Check in the amount of $887.15 to College Station Utilities on behalf of this deserving individual.
