Veteran Family Needs Help to Keep Electricity Running

My Story:

I am a wife of a disabled veteran that is unable to work. I have had two strokes and have trouble working. We have 2 boys that have asburgers and my daughter has recently moved back in with us due to medical reasons. I enjoy spending time with my family.

We definitely live month to month on our limited fixed income. We have a car that keeps breaking down and has cost over 2700 dollars in repairs and still is having problems. This has caused us to fall behind on our bills. We need your help to keep our electric on because without electricity we will not be able to cook, or keep food cold, have water, shower or be able to use the toilet.

I would be forever grateful to Modest Needs and their donors if we were assisted. This funding would relief so much of the stress I feel everyday. My sons will be going through training to get jobs for disabled persons and I am trying for my social security. This will help us to move forward. Thank you.
