I'm Fighting Breast Cancer & Lost My Insurance
My Story:
We are a family of 4 with 2 girls. My husband is an owner/operator and is gone all week sometimes weekends as well. He enjoys what he does but we miss him terribly while he is gone. Our oldest is 14, she so enjoys dance, jazz band and is a straight-A student. Our youngest is 12 and enjoys dance as well, makeup, girly things and makes us laugh daily.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, underwent chemo treatments and therapies which left my health very poor and unstable. We lost our medical insurance through this and all my care is piling up and drowning us. I have to choose which labs and scans I want as I cannot afford much of anything. Our absolute crucial need is keeping a roof over her head. Our girls need that stability as well especially with school starting. We need Modest Needs help with a month of our mortgage payment.
Having our mortgage funded for one month will not only lift my spirits emotionally but it will help free up the necessary funds to get the absolute care that's needed for my breast cancer journey. I also need an MRI scan and this is going to have to be out of pocket. I worry about the tumor growing from my body and without scans I will not know where I'm at. This has been an emotional rollercoaster with extreme ups and downs and juggling bills month to month. We are in desperate need of your help!
