Please Help This Single Mom Keep Her Car After Boyfriend Left Due to Drug Addiction
My Story:
I am a single mom of a 12 year-old daughter. I recently received custody of my boyfriend's daughter. Both girls are very sweet and such great kids. The oldest is really into computers and loves Star Trek and the youngest really loves sports. I work full time as a medical assistant in a doctor's office.
My boyfriend is addicted to drugs and left our house at the end of April. The same day he left I found out he had not paid our rent or the car payment in three months. He also left his daughter behind and since she does not have any family outside of us I filed for custody and was awarded temporary custody of her (her mother is also a drug addict and they are searching for her). I really need Modest Needs to help us with our car payment. I have done all I can do to get caught up with rent to keep a roof over these girl's heads but I need my car to get to work.
Getting your help with the car payments will help me travel for my own medical treatments, get us caught up on our bills and give us a fresh start to rebuilding our lives. It will help the girls see how there is good in the world and will teach them to be kind and help people. I will be forever grateful and once caught up, I want to be able to give back.
