Do Not Let Single Woman Supporting Herself Go Homeless Due To Surgery
My Story:
I'm a single 34 year old woman who lives alone and enjoys to read. I work full time as a practice biller at northwell health. I also am in school, I currently am in my junior year of college and I cannot wait to get my degree. I have two cats who I consider my family and I also take care of my elderly parents in my spare time.
I live pay check to paycheck due to school loans and helping my parents who are both disabled. Neither of us have savings and struggling to pay for all the bills is very stressful. I had to have a surgery in March for a hernia repair. I was out of work for 6 weeks and short term disability only gives you 50% of your salary with a 3 week waiting period for pay. I truly need Modest Needs help with my rent or I will never get caught up.
This funding would absolutely be a life saver. I will be able to get back on track with my finances and continue to live productively. Your help will take this one bill of my plate so I can focus my resources on getting caught up on everything. Thank you for considering my request.
