Don't Let Income Loss Make Me Homeless, Facing Eviction

My Story:

I am a single woman living alone with my rescue cat. I love to help others by inspiring them to be the best that they can be. I recently relocated to Florida for a new start and have a part time job and but am looking for something permanent. I've not be able to find anything yet with my criminal justice degree and have very little family aside from my renewed relationship with my sister. I've been estranged from my mother for almost 10 years after she threw me out on the streets in the middle of winter in Minnesota and I found myself homeless, living in my car for 4 months. A kind woman noticed me living in my car and helped me get back on my feet.

I earn enough to pay my basic expenses, but find myself living paycheck to paycheck. I often go hungry because I can't afford to buy much food. I have hit hard times after moving to a new city after a fire in my last apartment ended my lease. My last apartment had a fire and I burned by hands so bad that I couldn't work for 3 weeks so I lost 3 weeks of pay. I also had a temporary layoff last year after working for a company averaging 50-75 hours a week. I have a job now, but can't seem to catch up on my bills. Financial hardships have also been exacerbated by a recent stay in the hospital, which caused me to lose pay. I need Modest Needs help to get caught up with my rent. My landlord has been working with me, but now she is threatening eviction and I am so afraid that I could become homeless if I don't pay her as soon as possible!

Please find it in your heart to help me if you can. I'm just so nervous I might be homeless and your help would prevent this. This funding would impact my long term situation both financially and personally. It would allow me to get back on my feet and then I can focus on saving as much money as possible each month so this doesn't happen again. I'm constantly looking for a 2nd and 3rd job, but if I could get a job with my master's degree in criminal justice, then a decent salary would allow me to return the favor that a donor here might be able to give me. Good people inspire me and I try to inspire and help others whenever I can and I hope all you good people can be of help to me at this difficult time.
