I am a Single Woman Needing Your Help With My Medical Expenses Due to My Back Injury
My Story:
I am a single 30 year old woman and haven't had the pleasure of having children yet. I recently graduated with an Associates of Science and I serve as a minister, missionary and musician in my church. I also work full-time on 3rd shift (11p-7a) at a nursing home as a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA).
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I compressed my L5 disc in my back while at work, causing me to lose sensation in my right leg and foot and severe pain in my lower back and right hip. I was referred to a back surgeon, but I knew I wouldn't be able to afford to take time off work for a surgery and recovery. I found a great chiropractor who has been able to pretty much reverse my injury; however, his treatment is not covered by my insurance and is much more than I can afford. I have been making monthly payments, but this unexpected cost is financially overwhelming. I've exhausted all of my savings and have nearly nothing left from my paychecks to buy groceries or put gas in my car to get back and forth to work and church. I need Modest Needs' help to pay the remainder of my chiropractor bill.
This funding will relieve my financial burden and ensure I'm able to complete my treatment and remain healthy enough to continue to work and support myself and future family. If I don't complete my treatment with my chiropractor my back injury will resurface and become a lifelong condition that will ruin my ability to continue to work in healthcare and as a missionary. Your help will not only pay for this treatment, but effect my whole life. Thank you so much.
