School Teacher Needs Help To Afford Major Dental Work

My Story:

I am a single mother with one teenage daughter at home. I teach pre-K for Minneapolis public Schools. I moved to Minnesota a few years ago due to a family tragedy. I love crafts, reading, and the outdoors when I am not preparing a fun day at school for my little students.

As a teacher I make just enough to pay basic living expenses for my daughter and me. Because there is only enough money to pay the bills many extra expenses have to pushed to the side. Shortly after moving to Minnesota an old root canal fell out of the front of my mouth. After going to my new dentist, he told me that I needed an implant. Needless to say, even with insurance paying a portion of this expense it was still out of budget. I need Modest Needs to help me afford this essential dental work.

If I am able to receive this grant not only will it restore some confidence that has been lost but it will ensure that the health of my mouth is in good standing. It will alleviate the pain I have been living with for some time now. This grant would truly be a God send after three years of trying to find help and alternative ways to pay for these much-needed tooth repairs.
