We Were Forced To Change Jobs. Please Help Us With Our Rent

My Story:

I'm a married mother of two beautiful girls. My 11-year-old just had a birthday and our 13-year-old is dealing with an internal crisis of ADHD combined with puberty. I work from home full time as a chat agent, which is awesome because it allows me to be there for the girls. They are both quirky and fun to be around, but often drive me batty with their high energy. We have two cats that are my emotional support animals. We also have two ferrets and their names fit their personalities, Sleepy and Nosey.

My husband was dismissed from his job of 7 years. Luckily, he was able to find a new job quickly, but we had an income gap of about 2 weeks. Shortly before that my car was totaled and the transmission died on my husband's car. He has been relying on rides that cause him to have extremely long days. He is exhausted and often has to sit outside waiting in the cold for up to 2 hours before and after his shift. Repairing the car won't be able to happen for at least a few more months as we simply cannot save up for the repairs. But hopefully he will be getting a raise next month. I'm asking for Modest Needs' assistance with rent to free up the funds we need to bring everything up to date.

Your help to pay rent will bring us to a zero balance on all accounts. This assistance, in combination with his pay raise, will allow us to start fresh and stay on top of our bills. It has been a worrisome time and I would like to go forward knowing we can pay all the bills and still have money for food. My goal is to get us back to a place where we can at least stash a couple bucks with every paycheck so we have a sense of security. Thank you so much.
