A New Mom Struggling After Missing Work To Give Birth
My Story:
I am a single mother to a newly born baby girl she is 3.5 months. I can already see that she is very caring and happy. I would love to keep her spirit high and for her to not feel any of my depressing anxieties that I have been feeling in this past week.
I earn probably a little more than most single moms. I have worked my behind off and waited to bring a child into the world until I thought I was financially stable. Unfortunately, during my pregnancy my car transmission gave out which caused me to have to replace my car. I work almost an hour away from where I live so there was no way of putting this off. I didn't receive my short-term disability for 2 weeks after I had given birth to my daughter and this started a domino affect with my bills. I was happy to know I was returning to work thinking my situation would get better, but my entire first check went to my health insurance premiums. I need help paying one month's rent.
This funding will restore my faith that there are still good people that are willing to help. I am one of those people who is always willing to help but right now I am the one that really needs it. This will bring my household current and allow me to be fully on track. I will be making my normal salary and I know I will be able to start saving and making sure my daughter and I are stable. Reciprocity is what I live by and will to continue to live by with your help thank you in advanced.
