Seeking Rent Assistance After Car Repairs
My Story:
I am a single female in her mid 30's who has a Labrador named Lucky. I am a healthcare professional who enjoys helping others and providing educational materials and resources. My main role in healthcare is assisting case managers and other staff with language interpretation.
I had to get car towed back home and pay for a new alternator and power steering reservoir. I live on a fixed income and this is my only car; therefore, it is critical to have this car running for work. Unexpected car expenses have caused financial stress, and I hope my landlord will understand my situation, as I do not want to be in jeopardy of an eviction.
I will be forever grateful to Modest Needs' donors for assisting me during my time of need. The funding will take away a lot of the stress I am dealing with now, and bring a sense of peace. I am also going to start an emergency savings account to avoid this from happening again in the future. Thank you for your kind support.
