Unexpected Car Repair, Retired Grandma Needs Mortgage Help
My Story:
I am a retired Grandmother of 2. I retired 2 years ago from an Emergency 911 Center. I live alone and take care of my home with 2 acres of grass to mow and keep up with. I am an animal lover and raise a few chickens and love to grow vegetables in my garden. For many years I had horses but had to give them up because of my health issues. I do all I can to save money such as coupons and buying sale items.
I have always relied on myself for most everything with the exception of my son usually helps me with heavy things around the house. In May I had to replace the tire rods and battery on my car which I was able to do. In July my car broke down and overheated due to the water pump going out. When I got it to the mechanic he showed me one of the motor mounts were broken also. I shopped around and was able to save $200 less than most mechanics charge. However this expense was still outside of my budget and I now need assistance from Modest Needs to pay my mortgage.
This gift would help me continue supporting myself and afford to continue to stay in my home. Your kindness would be very much appreciated and I hope to return the favor when I am able. This is an awesome program that can help people in a short term financial setback. Thank you for your consideration.
