Children Moved Out, Single Woman Needs Utility Help

My Story:

I am a recent empty-nester as both of my children (God-Children) moved out in the last few months. My sister and I shared a house for years and I helped her raise the children from the time she adopted them at 2 and 5 years old. When she passed almost eight years ago I took them on by myself. We did very well and I felt as though the children were mine. I have worked hard to give them everything they needed and a lot of what they wanted. I work full time at a local community college where I have interacted with college students everyday for the last six and a half years. One of my passions in life is Education. Since the Children moved out it is just me and the dogs.

I earn enough to pay for my monthly expenses, but as with many people, I live paycheck to paycheck. When my daughter left in April she left me with the payments on a car I bought for her in my name two years ago. That left me paying two car payments. Then around the end of May my son moved out and all rent fell back on me and it would have been fine if I had not had to cover both of the car payments. I asked the bank to take back my car since the payments on it were higher and I kept my daughter's car. But I am still coming up short paying the utility bill this month and they are soon going to cut off my utilities. I need Modest Needs help with my utility payment.
>br /> The funding would bring me up to date and put me into a position where I will be able to cover my monthly expenses. I have cut out several extras since my children have moved out and I plan to start putting aside a little each month for an emergency saving fund if something like this were to occur again. Your help would restore my faith in people and help to restore my self confidence. Asking for assistance is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Once I am on my feet again I plan to return to giving to the charities that I have supported for years.
