It is with tears of thankfulness that I sit here, unsure of what to say to tell you just how grateful we are for your contributions. Just last week our daughter, Jenna, had a check up at the dentist, and we were told that she was at a high risk of infection and needed the extractions to happen as soon as possible. Unable to pay the anesthesia fee, there was nothing we could do except pray that somehow a miracle would happen and God would provide the money to get this done. That was on Thursday. Today, just 4 days later, you were that miracle. We got the news that we are fully funded, and we are so incredibly grateful. From the bottom of our hearts, and on behalf of our daughter, we thank you, and pray sincerely that some day we will be able to pay it forward.
Beautiful Little Girl Needs Dental Work
My Story:
We are a happily married family of 4, blessed with two beautiful children age 3 and 4. My husband is a hard-working electrician. Our kids are miracle babies, as I went into preterm labor with both of them around 28 weeks. Unfortunately, the meds given to stop labor and ensure a healthy birth have left their teeth with a condition called metaplasia, which has caused severe decay that is now threatening our daughter's permanent teeth.
We live paycheck to paycheck, and our daughter's dentist appointment this year showed extensive work that needs to be done. We have been unable to afford dental insurance, as my husband gets insurance through his work, and we do not qualify for state assistance. We are trying and willing to do what we can but we need Modest Needs help with the anesthesia bill. Without help we will not be able to get Jenna's teeth fixed, which could permanently affect her adult teeth for the rest of her life.
This funding will impact Jenna's life indefinitely, as her teeth will get the chance to grow strong and healthy for the first time. It will prevent the possibility of needing more teeth extracted, which will save her smile and give her confidence, and will show her that good people really do care.
