Recently Escaped My Abusive Partner: Help Me Become Totally Independent
My Story:
I am a single Mother to a very bright and kind 4-year old little boy. My son loves to be outdoors at all times and plays both soccer and basketball. I work full-time as a Federal Contractor at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
In March of this year, was I able to get myself out of an abusive relationship with my son's father. The situation became so tumultuous, that it required me to leave very quickly and very suddenly with our son. We literally had to start all over with no furniture or basic needs. Due to the unexpected moving and living expenses, my bills have fallen behind, specifically my vehicle payments. My son and I rely heavily on my vehicle to get him to daycare every day and to get myself to work.
If my vehicle is repossessed I'll lose my job which we can't survive without. The stress of all the sudden financial responsibility has put a toll on me, and I'm beginning to fear losing our only lifeline With the help of Modest Needs, I could get back on track financially. Once I am current with my vehicle payments, it will be much easier to manage my monthly financial obligations going forward. Thank you for helping me become fully independent.
