Help Keep My Electricity On After Car Repairs
My Story:
I am a single adult living in Doylestown, PA. I work full-time as a Utilization Reviewer at an outpatient substance abuse rehab. I love my job because I get to help people receive funding for the care that they need. I enjoy spending time with my friends, movies, knitting, riding horses and reading.
I earn enough to pay for my basic expenses but recently I had to pay for new brakes and rotors so that my car would pass inspection. I need my car to get to and from work and I haven't been able to get caught up enough to be able to make my regular monthly electric bill payment. No one in my family can help me financially; my parents are also on hard times, I have no siblings and no other family who can help. I need Modest Needs help with my electric bill. I have a shut-off notice unless I pay 40% of what I owe instantly. Unfortunately, I can't do this and I need your help.
This funding will lift the stress that I've been feeling this past month to the point that I don't even want to get out of bed in the morning. Every time I get paid I feel like the money is instantly gone because I am getting caught up on other expenses as well. It will bring my electric account current and will get the payments back to their usual, lower amount. I will be able to afford the payments once they are back to normal. I really appreciate your generosity.
