My Story:
I am a 21 year old mother of a almost four year old girl. We live in Nashville with her 21 year old father who works very hard to keep the house running. He wakes up at 3:30AM to go to work everyday and I fill in at an animal hospital when needed. We are both starting school in the fall to get degrees. Our daughter is full of life and we just want her to have an amazing life.
We basically live paycheck to paycheck every month. We try to keep a savings however with all our bills and school it is very hard to have enough left over to save. We had to spend all of what I had saved on a car because ours made it to the point of no return. We only had that one van and for weeks had to find other ways to get to work. Finally we found a different car in our price range. It just took all we had. We are asking for Modest Needs help with our rent.
This funding will put us both at ease. We will be able to catch up with our bills and return back on top of things. I do not want to lose the first place my daughter has ever called home. It will make it easier to sleep at night knowing we aren't going to get behind on everything. Personally it would save us. Thank you.
