This person has left the following thank you note:
Just when I am losing hope and faith, you have restored my strength to feel like I may be able to get through this. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your help towards bills this month. I have stressed for months now how to figure out what to do and interviewed countless daycare providers only to come back with the same thing that I cannot afford their care and still be able to pay other bills to make ends meet; This will take a huge weight off my shoulders as I will not only be able to make my mortgage payment in full now but also have enough funding to procure a safe and decent daycare for the summer. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and donation. It means the world to my son and I. Someday I hope I can do the same for someone else and pay it forward! Thank you and god bless
Single Mother Needs Help After No Child Support From Ex
My Story:
I am a divorced mother of one child. He is 6 years old, plays baseball and loves to be outdoors. He loves to help other people and is the light of my life. I work full time as a representative payee.
I earn enough to pay for our basic expenses each month but I tend to live paycheck to paycheck. I have no savings set aside and my ex husband has quit paying his share of daycare. Child support from him is a hit or miss. I don't have much wiggle room in my budget for this daycare expense but if I do not have daycare then I cannot work. If I don't work then I cannot provide financially for my son and I. It is a catch 22. I am asking for Modest Needs' help to pay my mortgage for one month. I have had to pay for childcare and therefore am being put in a financial bind. I just need this little help to make ends meet.
This funding will help me continue to support our family and have my child safely cared for. Your help would make a long lasting impact so that my son who is ADHD can transition through the summer and school year smoothly. I am hoping to keep him in the same care through summer and into 1st grade. I would greatly appreciate anything you can do. Thank you.
