Stroke survivor and Grandmother Needs Rent Help
My Story:
I am a grandmother of 6 grandchildren. I have 2 adult sons and I was married for 25 years. I currently work full time at a state position 150 miles away from my family.
I was actively involved in my family's life until I woke up to get ready for work on May 14, 2014 and fell to the floor. Once I went to the ER I was diagnosed with a massive stroke which took mobility of my left side, employment, and bank account for various expenses. I have worked temporary positions and finally after 3 years received a potentially stable government full time position. However it is 150 miles from home. I rent an apartment through the week and commute back home on the weekends to stay active in the lives of my grandkids. This past November I had a medical treatment for my stroke injuries and it took a huge hit on my budget. I need Modest Need's help to get me caught up on my rent.
This funding will bring my rent current and get me back on track with my budget. This employment position will allow me to transfer much closer to home very soon so I will not have an extra rent expense and will return to therapy to regain my left side strength and my sanity. This will take a heavy burden off my shoulders. Thank you.
