Single Mother of 3 Needs Help With Extra Tuition Fees

My Story:

I am a proud single mom who has raised 3 kids on my own for the last 9 years without any child support. My 20 year old son is currently enlisted in the US Army and has served our country for the last 2 years. My 17 year old daughter is a fun loving girl who loves to laugh and works very hard at school and her part time job. My 15 year old son is a straight A student who caddies during the summer. I have been a teacher for 20 years which is a passion for me, not a job. I love every second I spend with my students and give them everything they need to be successful.

I earn enough to pay our basic expenses every month, but the school district that both my children attend and I teach in, had to raise their tuition due to financial problems. The tuition includes book fees, registration fees for both children and their Driver's Ed fees. I have not been able to come up with any extra money to put aside to pay for these costs. If I don't pay them, my daughter will not be able to attend the graduation ceremony and my son will not be able to go through the Drivers Ed Program. I am in need of Modest Needs' help in paying the school fees for this year.

This funding will let my kids participate in normal school activities. We would be able to see our daughter graduate with her class. I am currently being interviewed for a part time job so I can supplement my current salary. I am trying really hard to provide them with a life where they don't feel too different from anyone else. I want them to appreciate the things we have and give to others to show them that working together makes a great community. People can truly make a difference in the lives of others. I know I will be inspired to help others in return. Thank you.
