Young Woman Lost Income and Needs Rental Help

My Story:

I am a determined 20 year old woman with a strong passion for art, writing and psychology. After 10 years of being forced from one home to another, I was left to fend for myself at age 18. A few months ago, I moved into my first apartment with the help of my beloved boyfriend, who shares my passions. I also have a rescue cat named Bella. I work as a service worker at a private high school, but my dream job is to help foster children and mentally ill patients and help them overcome their struggles just as I have.

A few days before moving in, I lost my job at Walmart and had to rely on my boyfriend's income to pay for all of our expenses. This worked okay until our car had been totaled and he also lost his job as a result before I even started my current job. Although I have a job now, I will be without paycheck for 2 weeks as the school is closed for Spring break. We need Modest Needs help paying out rent. My birthday is on April 2nd and all I want is to have the security of knowing I am not in danger of losing my home.

This funding will help immensely by allowing me to use the little money I have and what I will make to pay my other bills without having to worry about losing my home. I will then be able to focus on all of my other priorities and hopefully afford to attend college this summer as I had planned without drowning in debt- thus bringing me one step closer to my dream job of helping others in need! :)
