Young Family Needing Mortgage Assistance After Job Loss and Two Maternity Leaves

My Story:

I am a married mother of two energetic toddlers who love spending time outside. My daughter is two and loves exploring the world around her. My one year old recently began walking and has enjoyed getting into everything he can get his hands on. We all love our two puppies--Zeus and Scar. I work as a middle school English teacher and my husband works for a painting company.

Since having the children, my maternity leave and daycare costs put us on an extremely tight budget. The kicker came in August when my husband lost his job. Attempting to live off of the salary of a public school teacher has been horrific. Luckily, he started back at work just recently. We are hopeful that we will rebound soon, but our family needs the generous help of Modest Needs with our monthly mortgage. We are constantly worried that we will eventually lose our home if we cannot manage to pay our mortgage in a consistent manner.
