Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can not say that enough. When I received the email this morning, saying that my application had been funded, I had to double check and make sure that I read it correctly. A huge weight has been lifted off of my family and it means the world to us that people care enough to help. Finding this website has been a huge blessing to our family and has taught my daughters that there are good people in this world that just want to help because they can. I hope that one day we will also be able to help another family just like everyone has helped my family. I can not express the gratitude that my heart is feeling right now, I am on the point of tears writing this, because the stress and worry are finally starting to fade and it is a huge relief.
Furnace Quit Working, Neep Help with Mortgage
My Story:
My husband and I have two wonderful daughters. My seven-year-old loves arts and crafts and my two-year-old loves music and dancing.
We earn enough to pay for our basic expenses every month, but we live paycheck to paycheck. Our furnace broke down twice in March. We had to pay for a repair tech to come out both times and that has put us behind on bills for this month. We need Modest Needs' help to pay for our mortgage payment. We are worried that we will not be able to get back on track with the bills and will stay behind on the payments.
This funding will bring our household current with our bills again, and I wont have to worry about my family having a place to live. I want them to feel stable and secure. This would also help to show my children that there are good and decent people in the world that are willing to help.
