Single Mother of Two Special Needs Children Needs Assistance After 4 Week Hospital Stay
My Story:
I am a single mother of two children who both have special needs. My son was in the hospital 10 times from September, 2015 through October, 2016. I had tried repeatedly for 9 months to get my employer to allow me to work from home so that I could get the kids, and myself, the extra care that was needed to keep everyone out of the hospital. Due to this not working out for previous employees it just was not an option for me.
I was hospitalized in January for 4 weeks due to chronic condition caused by the pressure of dealing with the kids' problems all alone and work. While I was in the hospital, I secured a new job, where I could do the same thing, and work remotely from home. I need Modest Needs help to pay my past due car payment.
With my new job, I will get paid on the 10th and 25th, which will make it easier to schedule my bills and catch up on everything. I also expect to make a lot more money with my new job so I can save for future emergencies. I'm very excited about it. I think that if I could make up for 3-4 weeks of lost wages, it would make a huge difference in my family's success. Thank you.
